Lightly rubbed spine ends, lender's shelf number on spine label; moderate rubbing to board edges and corners, blind-embossed lender's stamp on front board. Text block edges and endpapers tanned; front hinge cracked and stretching, volume quite loose. Lender's labels, stamps and markings on endpapers and prelims. Internally, pages are age-toned, colour plate at page 46 loosely laid-in otherwise a delightful neat and clean volume depicting rural life around England.
