First (and likely only) edition. 116pp, with colour illustrations throughout. In pictorial card covers (slightly rounded on lower corners, a little bumped on upper corners and spine ends, with minor cracks at based of spine. There is a small paper scar on the front free endpaper, the 'belongs to' box has been completed in a childish hand, and the magic painting adventure has been painted, and few mild signs of fingering and compression. Newspaper clipping, encouraging young readers to Colour Rupert and Win a Super Prize, loosely laid in.
