A ring binder containing the Royal Observer Corps' as issued in 1958 (with some manuscript updates), Royal Observer Corps Standard Operating Procedure No 2, issued in 1975, substantial updates regarding Crew Duties (including responses to nuclear alerts) and Group Operations Room, again with some manuscript updates and annotations, with some individual correspondence between the Corps' officers and the recruitment, training and release of a member of the Corps in the 1970s, also laid in is a copy of he Corps' Basic Training Manual from June 1972. The boards are worn and rubbed all over, Corps' HQ stamp in front board, some old sellotape reinforcement on rear board. Previous owner's names inside front cover. Internally the papers show a little edge wear in places but, other than manuscript updates and a few annotations, are generally clean, neat and bright. A fascinating insight into the operation of the Corps' and the requirements upon crew. Thick 8vo.
