Board edges rubbed with cloth worn through near spine head. Text block edges tanning and foxing. Ex-lender stamps, pen notes and pocket on front endpapers, rear free endpaper missing; tanning. Stain on title page fore-edge affecting first few pages; but not text. One plate has been re-attached using clear tape. Occasional foxing throughout but otherwise internally clean and clear. Dust jacket has been protected with Brodart style sleeve and taped in place, shelf label, chipping around the spine ends and a small closed tear on the spine heel.
