Rare and Interesting Autograph Letters, Manuscripts and Historical Documents (Noel Conway Catalogues, 1890s)

Two catalogues issued by the Birmingham based ephemera dealer in the 1890s bound into one volume.  80pp; 42pp, extensively illustrated.  8vo.  Blue cloth boards with gilt lettering on the spine.  8vo.  Boards are worn, rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends, upper leading corner bumped.  Text block edges toned.  Endpapers toned.  Bookplate of W Miller, Dickensiana on the front paste down.  Catalogues have a little toning and some mild edge wear.

The catalogues promote the items offered for sale by Paul Conway & Co and include many signatures, autographs, rare books and documents etc, with many facsimile reproductions of signatures and documents.  Of particular interest in these catalogues are the extensive collections on offer relating to Mendelssohn and Charles Dickens.
