lxi [i] 664pp. With 12 b/w plate etchings. Red leather binding (rubbed at corners at head and heel of spine), with gilt motif on front a gilt lettering to spine. Prelim pages show a little age discolouration at edges & silk ribbon marker partially disintegrated. Prize presentation panels on both front endpapers indicating the book was presented to one John C Honeysett in June 1936 for being first in class at London County Council's Eltham Central School, signed by the then headmaster J G Nisbet (possible but unconfirmed connection to the writer, Edith Nisbet, whose family lived in Eltham). Introduction and editor's notes by Andrew Lang.
