Peveril of the Peak (Everyman's Library)

Volume is undated but internal evidence indicates that it was published prior to 1915*. x, 638pp.  Bound in carmine cloth-covered boards with blind embossed floral design on front panel and extensive gilt lettering and decoration on spine.  Flat back spine.   Pale yellow endpapers designed by Reginald L Knowles.  No series number on series promotion page. 12mo.  Cloth just a little rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends, slightly discoloured around edges, spine moderately sunned. Smudge mark on lower text block edge.  Internally neat, clean, bright and tight.  *After 1915, Dent included the series number on the series promotion page (see the excellent Everyman's Library Collecting website),
