Undated (circa 1940s). Black cloth-covered boards; gilt titles on spine. 12mo. Sun-faded spine; rubbed spine ends and joints; cloth wearing through. Corners rounded. Rear board soiled. Quite cocked. Text block edges tanned and starting to fox. Endpapers starting to tan. Volume quite loose. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Hard-to-find title about growing up in a mining town in north Nottinghamshire.
