Spine slightly sun-faded, spine ends faded. Corners very lightly rubbed. Text block edges foxing and tanning, top edge dusty. Previous owner's name in pen on front free endpaper. Gutter stretched mid way through. Minor foxing throughout, heavier towards prelims. Burn through page 259/260, soiling 258 and 261. With chapters on armistice, delay, misfortunes, mistakes, etc.
