The patent granted relates to improvements in automobile and horsed fire fire brigade vehicles, chemical engines and fire escapes, namely combining certain apparatus and an improved method of attaching a mobiel fire escape and for charging the cylinder of a chemical fire engine. The patent was filed by J C Merryweather in February 1902 and granted by the Patent Office in January 1903. It includes the complete specification for the innovations and three technical drawings.
