Not dated but c 1905. 72pp stapled booklet in printed paper wrappers (lengthwise crease in front cover, one corner dog-eared for first few pages, gently worn at edges, internally neat, clean, bright and tight). Lightly illustrated. One of the most comprehensive histories and descriptions of a single street, in the town of Harrogate, Yorkshire, dating from the turn of the 20th century but tracing its history back to the earliest times. Contemporary adverts for local businesses and services at front and rear, mostly for businesses operating from Parliament Street itself. Intriguing if niche historical study.
