Papers relating to Chevin Lodge, No. 6848 (Otley, Yorkshire)

A collection of nine booklets relating to the masonic Chevin Lodge, including its 50th anniversary in 1999. Collection includes seven programmes for installation ceremonies between 1996 and 2005 (two or four page booklets with stiff, printed card covers, stapled, in very good condition with some oxidization around staples, else bright and fresh); a summons and programme for a regular lodge meeting in 1999 (44pp leaflet, very gentle edge wear); and a programme for the 50th anniversary dinner in 1999, which includes a photograph of the original founding members, and an extract from the original consecration publication of 1949 (44pp booklet, stapled, with printed stiff card covers, in very good condition barring a mild crease towards the base of front over, and some manuscript corrections to text). Also included is a single sheet of manuscript notes giving impressions of the anniversary dinner and, interestingly, the performance of the various speakers at the dinner. The Chevin Lodge met at the Masonic Hall in Otley, Yorkshire.
