Cloth is worn and a little soiled, rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends, a little sunned over a ribbed spine. Top text block edge dust darkened, other edges a tad toned. Previous owner's name pencilled on front free endpaper. Endpapers very slightly toned else internally neat, clean and tight.
A true first edition of the second part of Flora Thompson three volume, sem-autobigraphical account of rural life in the home counties in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. A war time production now very hard to find.
