24pp stapled booklet in stiff card covers (covers a little worn, oxidising around staples). Internally, some mild toning and occasional spotting to pages. A 4pp flyer promoting Outposts, and giving a little of the history of the journal, loosely laid in (chapped along top edge). 8vo. Contributors to this issue include Kenneth Gee, Peter L Sissons, Bernice Ames, Edwin Brock, Franics Berry and many more. Outposts, for many years edited by Howard Sergeant until his death in 1987, is the oldest independent poetry magazine to be published in the British Isles. Early numbers, such as this, are quite hard to find.
