Brown cloth-covered boards; gilt decorations and titles on front and spine; brown endpapers; spider web patterned tissue guard. 4to. . Boards very lightly soiled. Spine ends heavily rubbed with cloth fraying <1cm splits in cloth at heel and split across the length of the head. Corners heavily rubbed and rounded with cloth worn through and fraying. Text block edges lightly soiled, top edge dusty. Volume quite loose and cocked. Small ink stain on verso of front free endpaper. Gutters stretched. Moderate foxing, a small ink stain and previous owner's name on first blank page. Tissue-guard heavily tanned. Page 32 and 33 appear to have been stuck together at one point and have some sections of peeling. Occasional light soiling throughout volume. Otherwise internally neat, bright and tight.
