Text in French. Complete set in eight volumes. Uniformly half bound in red calf's leather over marbled boards, with gilt rules and gilt lettering and floral designs on spine. 16mo. Boards and binding rubbed and worn, scuffed around corners and spines. Text block edges toned and dull. Internally some light spotting and aging, especially on endpapers. A couple of cracked hinges. Previous owner's name inked on the front free endpaper of each volume else internally neat, clean and tight. Binding firm throughout the set.
