No Thoroughfare (Association Copy)
189pp. Red cloth boards (a little edge wear and a few marks, but square and solid). Internally a very little spotting, slight tan on endpaper. "Please return to A C Duggan", to whom the book is dedicated, written on half title page. Denise Egerton was the pen name of Denise Valerie Robbins Duggan (we have yet to determine the relationship between A C Duggan and Denise Duggan). In the remains of its original dust jacket (dust jacket worn and torn, with almost complete loss of spine, old interior tape repairs, now browned). Strip tape remains on inner flaps. What there is of the dust jacket is now protected in archival quality mylar wrapper which prolongs the life of the paper, keeps it clean and protects it from damage (and in this case holds it together. It is not adhered to the book or to the dust jacket. The saving grace of the dust jacket is that it still carries the main front illustration. Uncommon title. A Jacket fitted with archival-quality mylar wrapper to protect & prolong its life. It is not adhered to the book or to the jacket.
