Dust jacket now protected in a Brodart-style sleeve, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives. One of twelve Jubilee Reissues, specially selected and introduced by Julian Symons, published to mark the Collin's Crime Club's Gold Jubilee in 1980, each one chosen from titles which appeared under the Crime Club imprint between 1930 and 1955 and which were out of print at the time.
