First edition.  424pp, with publisher's catalogue bound in at rear, illustrated with line drawings.  Bound in publisher's blue cloth, with gilt decorations and lettering front and spine. Top edge gilt.  Black endpapers.  Signed and inscribed by Frederick Crowest opposite the half title, over a tipped in photograph, presumably of Crowest, dated 1904.  8vo.  Cloth a little worn, rubbed and rounded at corners and around spine, several small indentations on edges.  Small previous owner's label on front paste down.  Another previous owner's name neatly inked on the half title page, dated 1925.  First two leaves heavily toned, with faint and occasional spotting throughout, else internally neat and clean.
