Not dated but produced to War Economy Standards, so between 1942 and 1949. 192pp. Yellow cloth covered boards (worn, rounded at corners and spine ends, marked). Lending sheet on front free endpaper, else no other library markings. Internally neat, clean barring a little spotting. Tightly bound. In its original dust jacket (rubbed and a little chapped at edges, shelf wear, minor loss at lower leading corner and base of spine). Dust jacket now in archival-quality mylar wrapper to protect & prolong the life of the jacket. It is not adhered to the book or to the jacket. Richard Savage, a pen name of Ivan Roe, wrote murder mysteries featuring Dr Ferenc. This was his second novel.
