In its original pictorial dust jacket, with art work by Micklewright (rubbed and a little chipped on edges, couple of closed tears from upper edge, creased and cracked on spine, small loss on verso, interior tape repair). This is a tatty book but it is a very hard to find title, especially a first in a dust jacket. Roland Daniel was a successful and prolific crime genre author, publishing from 1928 until his death in 1969. Unlike so many of the genre writers of the period, his stories still hold up. 0
