2nd impression. 104pp. In paper-covered boards with tipped in illustration on front panel. 12mo. Boards are toned and a little spotted, gently rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends, a little chipped over spine. Gift inscription inked on front free endpaper, else internally neat and clean. A selection of Canon Sinker's letters which originally appeared in the parish magazine of St Mary Magdalene, Bermondsey (the old Parish Church) between 1923 and 1936. Titles include The Flower-face of Covent Garden Quartus a Brother, Friends and Fairyland, Keeping Lent, the Cat-fish, Mother Goes to Bognor, Mother at Richmond, Good Temper Week, etc.
