Max's Nineties, Drawings 1892-1899
First edition, first printing. 10pp, 46pp of plate illustrations. Quarter bound in linen over decorated paper-covered boards. Black endpapers. Title page in red and black. 4to. Boards very gently rubbed and rounded on corners and spine ends. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original illustrated dust jacket, a little rubbed and browned around margins, damp stained on verso, crumpling at spine head. Profusely illustrated with reproductions of Max Beerholm's drawings, with a critical introductory essay by Osbert Lancaster.
