1946 reprint of the 1930 original with no revision or additional material. 210pp, with 61 plates (including three fold-out plans) and 58 figures in text. In plain card wrappers (a little edge wear and chipped and cracked along spine). Text block partially loose from wrappers and corner fold on front free endpaper, else neat, clean, bright and tight. An insight into the history and development of Roman London told through an examination of the exhibits held by the London Museum. The London Museum no longer exists, its collections being merged with that of the City of London Guildhall Museum in 1975 to form the Museum of London which opened to the public in 1976.
