Undated but 1950s. An elegant, tall portfolio containing a silk stringed booklet in light card covers inscribed to Herbert Barham, followed by many signatures of his friends and colleagues at Lloyd's of London; includes the arms of Lloyd's and three printed images - showing Lloyd's Main Entrance, Lloyd's Coffee House in the late 1700s and a Galleon at Sea. Portfolio bound in deep blue leather with gilt rule borders, gilt arms on front panel, elegant inner gilt dentelles surround silk moire onlay endpapers. 4to. Portfolio very slightly rounded on corners. Booklet covers a little tanned at edges, internally neat, clean, bright and tight. A remarkable, beautifully presented memento.
