Imminently readable but what makes this book particularly desirable is the Glasgow Style inspired design by Ethel Larcombe. (Ethel Larcombe was a leading book designer often commissioned by Talwin Morris, the Art Director at Blackie and Sons between 1983 and 1909; Morris himself was a leading influence in the Glasgow Style, associating with the likes of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Margaret MacDonald and Frances and Herbert MacNair.)
