xvi, 316pp, engraved frontispiece (tissue-guarded). Green boards with gilt titles on spine and gilt decorations on boards; brown endpapers; bevelled edges. 8vo. Spine ends and corners rubbed; cloth worn though in places. Some light staining , small dent on spine cover. Front free endpaper loosely laid-in. Front hinge stretched, rear hinge cracking. Gift inscription (partly removed) in pen on second front free endpaper (dated September 1869). Light foxing to prelims but otherwise internally neat, clean and tight. With a prefixed and added extract from the same journal giving an account of earlier visits to Scotland, and tours in England and Ireland and yachting excursions.
