In its original, price clipped, dust jacket (gently bumped at edges). Dust jacket now in archival-quality mylar wrapper to protect & prolong the life of the jacket. It is not adhered to the book or to the jacket. Memoirs of a man to whom sailing was everything, who sailed many seas in many rigs but who remain a bargeman at heart. Born in 1907 in Dorset, he developed a love of sailing and the sea early on. He sailed around the world in the brig Lady Brassey.
