Text in German, with English Translation. 134pp, with extensive monochrome illustrations throughout (mostly of gymnastic positions and exercises). In strong card covers with linen over spine. 8vo. Boards are worn, rubbed and slightly discoloured at edges, some marks, cloth around spine rubbed and cracked. Previous owner's name on front cover, who also appears to have written 'with English translation' in a neat hand under the title. Red pen mark on fore-edge. Two previous owner's names on front free endpaper, else internally neat, clean and tight. Professor J G Thulin, of the South Swedish Institute of Lund, wrote gymnastic handbooks which set of the theory of contemporary Swedish gymnastics, discussing too the kinesiology of movement.
