In its original dust jacket, designed by Lynton Lamb (gently rubbed and faded at edges, a little sunned over spine).

Flora Thompson was born at Juniper Hill, a hamlet on the Oxfordshire-Northamptonshire border, described in Lark Rise. Lark Rise to Candleford is made of her three earlier volumes of autobiography, Lark Rise (1939), Over to Candleford (1941) and Candleford Green (1943).
