Both volumes have decorative prize presentation plates inside the front cover, indicating that the books were awarded to one Nicholas Allan in the early 1970s by St Nicholas' Church, Dunnington. Knights of God is full of unforgettable stories and legends of some of Ireland's greatest heroes and saints; while Earthfasts tells the story of a drummer boy who disappears in a castle only to emerge 200 years later.
