Prolific, producing around a novel a year, several of his books were turned into silent movies and later talkies. King in Prussia is one of his later works, published in the US under the alternative title of The Birth of Mischief, is a historical novel covering the early years of the 19th century Prussian ruler, Frederick the Great. A pleasing copy.
