Small bookseller's ticket on front paste down, indicating the volume was once in the stock of Gilbert and Field, Booksellers of Gracechurch Street, London, a couple of smudge marks, else internally neat, clean and bright. An early plea, aimed largely at children, against animal cruelty, told through stories. Uncommon. Slim 12mo.
