Examines Ket's [Kett's] Rebellion in June 1549, when men of the town of Attleborough and of the nearby hamlets of Eccles and Wilby in South Norfolk, torn down the recently erected fences around part of the common grazing land they had rights to; and how this sparked an insurgency during the reign of Edward VI and the storming of Norwich under the leadership of Robert Kett, later held in the Tower of London and tried for treason.
