The Kanun of Leke Daukgjini is one of the variants of Albania customary law which was transmitted orally and initially codified and published in Turkish in the early part of the 19th century, in an attempt to end a series of blood feuds. It was later collected by the Catholic clergy and published in Albanian. The first complete codification dates from 1933.
