Text block edge very slightly discoloured. Written as a commentary on an unfolding scene, this portrait of Kennedy was intended as a commentary but became a memorial. Sidey was with Kennedy at Dallas, but essentially the value of this book is Sidey's ability to write free from the piety of mourning and the judgment of hindsight.
