The complete set of Proust seven part novel sequence, In Search of Lost Time, here bound in six volumes (the sixth volume contains the last two parts of the novel sequence, The Fugative and Time Regained.  A beautifully bound set, with varying shades of blue cloth binding with gilt lettering on the spine and presented in two matching slipcases.  8vos.  The spines of volumes 1 to 3 are a tad dusty and the slipcase for this set has a short crack on the lower edge.  Volumes 4 to 6 are also in a slipcase, all still in publisher's shrink wrap, unopened and undamaged.

In Search of Lost Time was frist translated into English as Remembrance of Things Past.  It is a seven part novel sequence by French author Marcel Proust known both for its length and for its theme of involuntary memory.
