[1924-26]. Volumes I, II and III (of IV) only. In total some 1900 pages, with around 2000 illustrations in each volume, mostly in two colours, some fully colour. In beautifully decorated and illustrated green cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering front and spine. Top edge gilt. 4to. Cloth is moderately rubbed and rounded at corners and spine tips, with some mottling on cloth and the odd minor indentation on edges: volume one has small cloth loss at head of spine. Gilt on top text block edges is faded and dull. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. A handsome set and a magnificent tour through the most beautiful and most interesting parts of the British Isles in the early part of the 20th century.
