Text in French and English.  Undated but all circa 1815.  Half bound in grey leather over marbled boards with gilt decorations, leather label bearing the name Dutchess of Hamilton. Folio.  Boards are worn, rubbed at edges and especially on corners and spine ends and joints, leather is scuffed and faded over spine.  Previous owner's bookplate on front paste down.  Pages tanning and spotted throughout.  Some pencil annotations (regarding the book's history) on early pages, occasional minor old inked annotations in page margins, previous seller's stamp at the base of most of the title pages, three leaves loosening.

As well as the Nocturnes Italiens, Le Guerrier Troubador Romance and the Romance, also bound into this volume are Quatuor dans L'Opera and various other songs from operas amounting to a substantial collectiono of early 19th century sheet music, with vocals, arranged for the piano and harp.
