In full burgundy French Morocco soft leather, with gilt titles from and spine, all edges gilt, printed on India paper, burgundy satin ribbon marker bound in, burgundy endpapers. Presented in two slipcases, one slotting inside the other, ensuring the Bible is protected all round. In inner slipcase is plain except for a label on spine identifying the work at the King James Version, Standard Text Bible, and some publication details. The outer slipcase is pictorial, showing a scene from Cambridge. 8vo. The Bible is in near fine condition, there is one tiny burnish of the gilding on the fore-edge. In the inner slipcase is also near fine, just very slightly rippled at the head of the spine. The outer slipcase has some minor shelf wear. Contains both the Authorised, King James version of the old and new testaments, together with a concise reading plan at rear, setting out a course to read the entire text in two years. A truly stunning volume. Compact, light and easier to hold and read.
