First edition. xvi, 186pp, with numerous maps of which seven fold-out. In blue cloth-covered boards with gilt titles and decorations front and spine. 8vo. Hint of rubbing to corners of boards, top edge lightly dust-marked, fore-edge toned. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original paper dust jacket, rubbed and browned at edges, tiny whole above titles on front panel, a little faded and marked. The sixth, and last, volume in the monumental history of the King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry fills the important gap from Dunkirk to the end of the Second World War and the years immediately after.
