8th edition. 98pp. Three-quarter bound in leather over marbled card boards (boards rubbed at edges with a few small scuffs on surface, rounded at corners and indentation on upper edge on rear). Illustrated with wood engravings and complete with linen gate-folded map of the Harrogate area at front. The map is a little discoloured and creased, their is a previous owner's name in a copperplate hand on the front paste down endpaper, a few small marks, especially on rear endpapers and occasional mild toning, else internally neat and clean. A few small cracks on edge of title page. Binding remains tight and firm. A charming and evocative volume, detailing the scenes and sites for visitors to Harrogate - Ripon and its Cathedral, Fountains Abbey, Harewood House, Bolton Abbey,Masham, Ripley, Plumpton etc, with a section at end on the Harrogate spa and waters by a local surgeon, Alfred Smith. Local adverts, some colour printed.
