Gurjun, Apitong, Keruing, Kapar and Allied Timbers (Forest Products Research Records, No. 16)
12pp, stapled pamphlet, frontispiece showing the end-grain structure of typical timber samples, sparsely illustrated with charts and tables etc. In green card covers (mildly marked, faded and rubbed at edges, previously owner's name written on), internally mildly toned, a little oxidisation around staples, first couple of pages not quite crisp). A 1949 reprint of a research record first published in 1937 dealing with a group of timbers which were increasingly important to wood-using industries in the early part of the 20th century. Hard to find title: Word Cat identifies one copy, in the National Library of Scotland.
