Second edition of volume first published in 1919. 92pp, with frontispiece and further line drawings, all by Hugh Eades. Quarter bound in green cloth over grey paper-covered boards. Paper title label on spine. 12mo. Boards a little worn, gently rubbed at edges and lightly rounded at spine tips. Very slightly cocked. Minor spotting on text block edges. Pages off-white. A collection of stories and tales of a fictional English village, thought to be based on Riseley in North Bedfordshire. Mary Frampton was a pen name of Emily Mary Cook, author of Jamaica. Hard to find title (although a later paperback reprint is a little easier to find).
