There's a little spotting on the endpapers, and a previous owner's name on the front free endpaper; the half title page is chapped along top edge else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Rosa Nouchette was a popular English novelist and children's writer in the latter part of the 19th century. Her works reflect the values of her times, widely held to be wholesome reading matter for girls, but are not without grit and realism. This is one of her harder to find titles.
