First thus.  Unpaginated, circa 200pp, richly and vividly illustrated throughout.  In cream  cloth-covered boards with gilt stamped motif on front panel and gilt lettering on spine.  Folio.  Cloth is just a little rubbed and discoloured along the extreme lower edge.  Internally neat, clean, bright and tight.  In its original laminated and illustrated dust jacket, gently bumped on extreme edges.  A magnificant volume of faeries, described and illustrated by Brian Froud and Alan Lee, two gifted artists who have made a study of the history of fairy folklore.  Faeries explores a whole new world - a world of magic charged with the wild beauty of creatures who do not live to human rules.  Theirs is a realm of wonder, exquisite delight and enchanted danger.
