First edition.  230pp.  Blue cloth-covered boards with gilt titles front and spine.  Slim 8vo.  Cloth a little faded at edges. Internally pages a little toned else neat, clean and tight.  In its original worn, rubbed and creased dust wrapper, with internal repairs.

Elizabeth Ham's autobiography contains some of the sharpest portraits and insights into life in England, Ireland and the Channel Islands in the latter 18th and early 19th centuries.  She planned its publication but died beforehand; and it remained unpublished until this edition was produced by Faber & Faber in the 1940s.
