Cloth just a little rounded at corners and spine ends, top text block edge a little dust stained, else neat, clean, bright and tight throughout. In its original dust jacket, a mite faded, lightly bumped at edges, short- less than an inch - closed tear from bottom edge, sunned over spine. Dulac was one of the leading illustrators and artists of the 20th century. In the stories of Hans Andersen, he found perhaps the perfect stimulus to his imagination. The stories selected for this volume include some of Hans Andersen's best know including The Snow Queen, The Nightingale, The Emperor's New Clothes and The Little Mermaid.
