Drawing: Forms, Technqiues, Meanings; Drawing: The Great Collectors; Drawing: Public Collections in Italy, Part One; Drawing: Public Collections in Italy, Part Two
Complete set in four volumes. Each volume, of circa 400pp, is copiously illustrated in colour and black and white. In matching handsome bindings of grey cloth-covered boards with white titles front and spine. In illustrated dust jackets and each volume presented in thin card slipcases. Tall 4tos. Volumes themselves are in fine condition without obvious flaws. Dust jackets are close to fine - the dust jacket on the third volume (part one of Public Collections in Italy) has a small indentation on the spine and is a little bruised at the spine head. The slipcases are a little rubbed on edges and that for volume one (Drawing Forms Techniques and Meanings) is heavily rubbed at edges, partially cracked along some joints and has a couple of closed tears. Translated from the original Italian to English by Andrew Ellis. A magnificent, handsome set produced to high standards. A hard to find set (often described by others as being complete in three volumes but actually comprises four distinct volumes, the final title, Public Collections in Italy, being presented in two parts).
