Fully bound in brown calf's leather, five raised bands on spine, gilt lettering and decorations, with St Paul's Preparatory School, Colet Court, circular-stamped on front panel. All edges marbled, marbled endpapers. 12mo. Boards a little rubbed, especially on corners and spine ends, short open tear in leather at spine head with leather crumbling, rear upper corner heavily bumped with some surrounding indentations. Prize presentation plate, a little spotted, on front paste down, indicating the volume was awarded to R Warde in 1906. Gutter cracked ahead of blank page, which has a small corner curl, else internally neat and clean.
